Soy Is Evil!

From my own personal experience anyway. For some time I've had doubts about whether I should totally eliminate it from my diet. Seeing as I'm not a food extremist, I thought I'd give the bran a try (because I've taken the milk in the past and it completely did me in).

I did my research and found that consuming large amounts of soy is a big NO-NO. For two reasons. Firstly because of it's oestrogenic properties, frequent consumption can result in an increase in oestroge load in the body and worsen conditions like PCOS. Secondly, almost all of the soy produced currently are Genetically Modified. If animals that are being fed GM soy feeds are becoming sterile, what right thinking woman that's TTC would happily consume it in large amounts?

Regardless of what the experts say, as of today, all doubts have been laid to rest; soy IS bad for ME because my boobs tell me so!

For some weeks now I've been including soy bran along with wheat bran in my daily oatmeal. Just to give myself some variety, I thought it wouldn't matter since it was about 1 tablespoon. But noooo, my body noticed the difference. This morning I felt like chopping off my boobs; they got so tender. If you've read my PMS rants in the past, you'll know how bitter I am about tender bbs.

It really goes to show how sensitive the body is, especially when you have PCOS. It's like every cell in my body is on hyper alert that it doesn't take much to tip the balance from being asymptomatic to having the whole gamut of symptoms.
